Cervesera del Montseny Castanya Imperial Brown Ale

This Imperial Brown Ale is made using chestnuts (“castanyes”) from the nearby Montseny mountains for which the brewery is named. The CCM staff gathers the nuts by hand, toasts them, and then adds them to the boiling wort. The result is a malty, nutty, roasty brew with caramel notes and a bittersweet finish.
