Named after John Edward Aldred, the founder of Shawinigan. He established the Shawinigan Water and Power to harness the energy of the Shawinigan Falls. Aldred the Beer is a hoppy saison with the aromas of lemon zest and fresh herbs. The flavor is a skillful balance between the character of the saison yeast and the fruitiness of the hops, resulting in a delicate blend of lychee and grapefruit notes. The finish is crisp and lightly acidic.
