Brewed in the Flanders tradition, this is not your typical amber ale. It transforms as it moves across your palate. Sour cherries and blackberries to start, followed by earthy caramel and spice, finishing long with tawny port notes developed through natural barrel aging in bourbon barrels ranging in age from two to ten months. As always with Jolly Pumpkin beers, it is unfiltered, unpasteurized, and bottle-conditioned.
