Au Baron Saison Saint Médard Cuvée de Noël

A special version of their Saison Saint Médard (not available in the US) brewed for the holidays.  Named after the town’s church, pictured on the label, this dark brown bière de garde has garnet highlights and a persistant tan head.  The aroma has notes of red fruits and plums as well as toasted malt and a hint of hops. This full-bodied beer has a fruity flavor with roasted malt notes and finishes with hoppy bitterness.
